No way. This season is poorly directed, animated, voice acted among many other things, which effects the entire anime. It just doesn’t need good plot and characters to be great.

I think they didn’t stick with the personalitys of the girls from the first season. (Mainly Henrietta and Rico) They’re too bubbly and cute which makes this go even mor downhill with the lack of keeping all the characters well… in character. Henrietta makes all these werid noises, Rico smiles and laughs TOO much… Really the only girl that trully stayd in character was Triela. It’s like I don’t even know who these girls are anymore.

Don’t even get me started on the character desiges. It’s like they didn’t even try.

The action scenes are all awful so far. They’re poorly animated, and don’t make me feel amazed, or excited to see what happens next.

There are more ways in which this season is a major downfall but I just don’t want to get into every little detail…

On the other hand: the direction is great, and the story line is as good as ever. So I’m going to stick with it.

I’d rather have good writing and good direction, and good characters (which match the first season) and a plot that moves along than high budget animation. There’s plenty of flashy shows that are poorly written; a well-written show like Gunslinger Girls Il Tetrino is a treasure worth enjoying.

I guess it must be really disappointing to see the animation quality go downhill after what we’ve seen from the 1st season, which was quite awhile ago. You’d think the animation quality would increase, not decrease.

I’m seriously wondering if I should watch this now.
