Thank you, Gonzo, for taking a serviceable and enjoyable shonen manga (especially volume 6+, where Tsukune stops being well…human) and turning it into a fanservice fest. I did, however, find someone to shoulder part of the blame:
The director, Takayuki Inagaki. Turns out the only other things he actually directed were Koharu Biyori and Desert Punk. Yeah… -_-;
