Shakugan no Shana-tan: Fumina Konoe Strikes Back!

Oh lord.

Impressions:

Awesomeness. The early parts with the usual cranky Yoshida and Shanatan were the same as always, but then we had Yoshida playing Twister on the magic map, Yoshida completely blowing off Ike with a grin and yelling for Yuuji, Konoe and Hecate ‘resonating’ with eachother, Sabrac explaining how his flame wave works (it’s just like putting knives in a washing machine!) and we ended with pimp Sabrac, chilling in a bar with floozy Wilhelmina and Margery draped on either arm. I did enjoy that all of Konoe’s memories were food, Shana’s melonbread shooter, and Yoshida throwing away Pheles’ cross, but they paled in comparison to the rest.

You’re the man, Sabrac.

Awesome, most definitely makes up for the only decent first one.

By the by; is this on the last DVD volume? Or is there a chance for more Shanatan?

well the last screencap says “to be continued…” so its likely there will be more. i liked the little dancing Shanatan in the same scene. That would make such a good gif.

It was also cool to hear Wilhelmina finally speaking normally and without “de arimasu.” makes me realise i would probably like Wilhelmina a lot more if it wasnt for her odd speech patterns

And with old Three-Eyes as a bartender. Yes, Sabrac shows Yuuji how to REALLY be a Harem Master. :P

You know, it’s kinda sad that the Shana-tan episodes are probably the best part of the whole series… especially when they try love-triangle comedy like when they introduced Konoe or the whole ‘making bento’ thing.
