Touhou Profile Spritery

May 11th, 2008

Remember way back on April 1st… the Touhou Valkyrie Profile clone that would never be? The sprite maker posted all his sprites a little while back (most had been up for months before). They really are things of beauty. It’s a shame that I still have to kill him for not making the actual game.

Complete crossposted set after the cut.

Wow, it’s been a long while since I made a sprite dump post.

    Man, that Youmu stationary pose sprite is awesome. Most of them are.

    =<

    Why’d you have to remind me of this horrible, horrible April Fool’s Joke? What they had was the perfect combination of almost everything in the world of gaming that I love most. They threw it in my face, and then they laughed at me. They laughed as they took my dreams in their cold, iron grip and crushed them.

    Laughed. ;-;

    I’m not a Touhou fan. But everytime I see artwork/anything related to it, I get interested.

    Yeah that guy should make the game.

    These sprites are nice.

    Though the game may be a joke, I’m in hopes that he’d at least made a complete sprite list of every character there is. If so, can you link me to them? Thanks.

    hehehe some of the sprites make the character’s hands look gigantic. Sorry just had to point it out.

    I watched that April fools video thing about 30 times and I never got tired of watching then I became depressed from the fact it probably will never come to light as an actual game TT_TT

    I… have no real idea what you’re talking about, I think…

    … and if I knew what this was even about, I might say FUND IT.
