It has a very bold appeal and damn the folks who can't apreciate the overblown theatrics the show is going for. To me, that is a good thing. Seriously, though, despite my like of Shinkai's graphics (though stories..not entirely) and this being one of the biggest hypes in eroge adaptations, I couldn't get through the first episode....for some reason. I can't explain it, but it was like it kind of got stuck and i moved on. And I'm not about to start the second season without watching the first. I might not like this series, but I'm not about to ruin any possiblt good experiences in the future. But I'll agree that this show shouldn't be a weekly (or at least the story shouldn't have been fragmented as such) I guess this is where the “meh” people gather, huh?
