Like Westlo said, the manga is brilliant, and I can only hope that your impression of this will change. After some people kept raving on about it I tried it again. Let me tell you this, the first 1-2 episodes will be absolute crap to what comes later on. Looking at the screens here they probably should've condensed the start more.. but at least it seems they will be staying true to the manga.. and considering that 95% of the manga is fucking awesome that's a good thing. Also I wouldn't worry about Shou that much... About 6 months back I read the first few manga chapters and gave up on this because it was rather average.
