Hopefully they get a little more depth in future episodes, because at the moment, they’re bordering on Tenma-level relationship incompetence. And it took the spin off volume to do it, but Kitamura became a favourite character too after we find out way more about him and his thoughts there. Ugh, this is going way too fast. At this rate there's a fair chance that they'll end this series with either the end of volume 5, which would be a absolutely FABULOUS place to end a series, or the end of volume 4, which would be a pretty good place too. If there's any more of these fillers, than we can be sure every character except for Ryuuji and Taiga will be shafted, and JC Staff will retain its reputation for being Rapers of Original Material.
