And of course, Kuze's advise to Renji about dreams is given back to him by Mizuki. A bit disappointed that Yuuko's song didn't quite make it back to Kuze as well, but I suppose they wanted to save it to use as a summary of the whole show. In fact, the whole episode felt more like a grand finale rather than the climax you tend to see in penultimate episodes, what with both OPs appearing and the first season's characters giving thanks to Yuuko for her help in overcoming their problems. I notice as well that in the lyrics written on Mizuki's scrap of paper "memory" is the only word written in English. I suppose it's to re-emphasize its importance to both seasons of ef?
