Its like the Harry and Ron's little sister thing in Harry Poter(Shut up! Its a good series). They leave relativley little space for anyone to get attached to her, then they kinda just tack it on "Oh, but I love you" at the end. Breaks flow I think. Its like they go out of thier way to make some other girl better then the lead. Everytime i think ami would be better then minori or taigi, i can't help but think of clannad where i prefered Tomoyo to nagisa, or kyou, either one.
