Like Nagisa in Clannad, it feels kind of abrupt and out of flow when they hook up two characters that haven't been built towards each other. Its like the Harry and Ron's little sister thing in Harry Poter(Shut up! Its a good series). They leave relativley little space for anyone to get attached to her, then they kinda just tack it on "Oh, but I love you" at the end. Breaks flow I think.

But I *like* Ami's facade. It's the contrast between her facade and non-facade that makes her such an interesting and delicious chara. :3

<+Totali> I can overcome anything with the power of love!
<+Aroduc> Even Ami's bounce?
<+Totali> :(
<+sage> I can't overcome that.
<+sage> But I'd like to come over that.

Its so bizarre. Its like they go out of thier way to make some other girl better then the lead. Everytime i think ami would be better then minori or taigi, i can't help but think of clannad where i prefered Tomoyo to nagisa, or kyou, either one. They keep picking the wrong girl to to get with the guy.

As a part of Toradora audience, a couple of my friends and I are clueless how Ryuji is going to end up with any of the girls and if he doesn't then Kitamura gets all. >_<

I’m actually starting to really like her

I think she's much better as we get to know her as well. Just her facade is such a turnoff.
