No monster of the week, but one of the bad guys. And from what I know (played the kinetic novels), it is no trailer for the next ep, but something that happened somewhere (or heck, they'll show that sequence again next week).

To the show itself: I loved the plot of the Kinetic novel (ever since I played it, I wished for an Anime made out of this stuff ^^;) and I am quite happy how it seems to come out. They changed somethings, but made only one logical mistake to the whole background of Polyphonica (Corti could come out of her rampage without any Commandia. That's normally impossible.), but I could live with it, but it had fit to the episode. I think, all the changes to the game they made were not to repeat to much out of the first season. It would have been too alike. But apart from that they even used some dialogs from the game, the Background music was partly from it... I am looking very forward to more... ^^

@ Honoo

Actually, just ignore the first season of Polyphonica because that's just something they made up. This season of Polyphonica is more or less the real adaptation of the game.

@ hashi

This shouldn't be monster of the week type at least if they follow the kinetic novels.

About Pholon, I would more say that he only has two girls after him. Corti somewhat and Perserti. Prine is more of a quiet and somewhat shy girl at times so it makes it seems like she is interested in him but not quite. Also, they seem to have changed her character a bit too extreme. She is more of a modest type and not extremely shy as they depicted here.

I'm not a fan of prequels considering Crimson S seems to be a prequel - but the character design is slowly getting into me. Aroduc, do you have some magic words to deter me from watching this?

The relationship between Corticarte and Foron is what will count for me. If it keeps developing as well as it was backgrounded in ep1, I may keep watching. But I'm afraid I see monster of the week coming, which is what the first series seemed to be.
