Can’t let you do that, Star Fox!
Well, it took a little longer than I expected, but the first third of the game’s finished… after a fashion. To keep my image editing minions happy and motivated, here’s something of a cobbled-together hobo alpha patch (emphasis on hobo) that should completely cover the vast majority of chapters 1-4 (out of 11) except subtitling the movie files and some of the random textual images. There are a lot of images, many redundant, and many more just in different sizes, and we’re still sort of in the "edit it and see if it looks okay" phase. It’s really not meant to be final in any meaningful way and there are still a few purely technical issues remaining… so it’s more like a proof of concept or that I’m making progress or something. Blah blah blah. Excuses, excuses. There shouldn’t be any major changes made to these parts though… at least I hope.
At any rate, if you just can’t wait and don’t mind the occasional typo, and the occasional weird looking (or untranslated) image/text, go wild. Feel free to stop by the forums if you want to report any typos, bugs, do any image editing, or discover the mystery behind the corned beef cans.
