I think I may want to check this show out. I saw blushing and hugging – this could backfire though but yea will check it out. Maybe this season isn’t a complete loss after all…

It’s off to a bit of a slow start but I wasn’t turned off. I’ll give this a few episodes to see the romantic triangles develop. Looks like a new girl will be introduced next week.

The voice acting is a bit over the top and hopefully will be toned down a bit. Still, it had some funny moments and the protagonist wasn’t too bad. The whole basis of the current relationship is based on his childhood trauma. It’s not really being a whiner but coming to grips with his issues.

I think this will be an OK series and worth watching.

You know, I’m still not quite sure what まにまに means. It’s not in my dictionary, and looking it up just returns a bunch of poetry using it like bequeath… and an Earthbound boss. It is a blemish on my soul.

… I get the feeling that the “Ma” somehow refers to the pronunciation of the Kanji for “space,” which definition might be somehow related to the show’s title and story. Not sure about the “ni” part, though. The second “ma” and “ni” seems to be about the same for me.

Mixed feelings about this one, the comedy is ok but the characters are too bizarre to be likeable. Perhaps if they focus on the romance/comedy subplots and ignore everything else this series may shine a bit.

I think I will stop watching this now, and check up a few episodes later to see if it has improved.

I disagree completely. One of the best shows of the season, so far. Terrific voice-acting and good humor.
