Princess Lover! #05 — Wasted Time
August 2nd, 2009
You’re decimating that good first impression here, GoHands.
Impressions:
Ugh.
Nothing happens.
Nothing happens.
Nothing happens.
Nothing happens.
Teppei gets an idea for his party and Charlotte makes him promise not to forget her. FORESHADOWING! Ha ha! Fore.
There, I just saved you 22 tedious minutes of this show. Yeah, yeah, Sylvia also has dead parent issues, and she’s conflicted over how she feels about Teppei right now, but isn’t doing anything about it except calling the alley cat taking him out on a date and telling her that she’ll leave him to her. The angst dial rates somewhere below a drunk dial on the list of things I care about. Teppei also lost the few manly points he had left from the first episode and is now running into a deficit from wrapping himself in a curtain and cowering.
Preview:
Yes. This is what they used for the next episode preview. 30 seconds of looking at the crotches of men in loincloths.

I guess I’ll step up to the plate. I pretty much expected Teppei to hold off a bit. It’s just to early for the protagonist to commit. I was impressed with Charlotte. She obviously wants to move things forward but has some amount of concern for Sylvia. It was a nice balance between her normal overly bubbly personality and some empathy for both Teppei and Sylvia.
Not sure were we are headed in the next episode but the show is dedicating a girl for each arc. I guess Sylvia will finally make her move. I’d bet the final arc will conclude with the original plot involving the death of Teppei’s parents. This will permit Teppei to avoid choosing any of our heroines.
