I'm under the impression Tomo did something that hasn't been explained to resurrect Misao Looking at the OP, it seems Tomo has direct control over his mech. Possibly freeing Misao as the mech's spirit. I guess when the mech is released we'll get the full background story. Production value seems pretty high this season. The first season was a bit slow, but this looks like stuff is gonna get done. I think the break between the seasons might have given the show a bit of a spring to it, too.
