Pretty much. That episode was completely underanimated for what went down and the story’s ground to a complete stop since then. They even abandoned all the yaoi gay bar jokes, the style experimenting and… well… pretty much everything that made the first 4-5 episodes so unique.

Man, and I thought this show was fun when it started.

I think it went baaad around the giant holographic Schneizel mark, personally.
