Now we’re counting in Spanish?
You know, I just finished going through a bunch of project stuff, and I was settling myself down to work on getting some translation done when I check my stream feeds and oh, will you look at that. 40 minutes of Shana sitting around… staring at me. EYEING ME.
Impressions:
Well, as far as the Shana-tans go, this was pretty weak. As far as JCStaff’s been doing lately though, it’s a step up. At least I laughed a little bit. That’s more than I can say for the last couple months of Railgun. Plus, Hippo Shana is adorable. This could have really used more Margery Daw or more of pimp Sabrac. Man, I can barely even remember the names of the villains from this show. I guess that’s kind of the problem with having Shana-tan specials without any actual content to parody.
Sigh. Are we onto Yuuji becoming a dark god yet? No? Damn. We’ll see if I get to the actual Shana S #2 tonight or not. I’m easily distracted by Jon Stewart and Stevie Colbert around these hours.

Why didn’t they make a proper series,rather than this stupid ova?….
The OVAs are from previously unanimated chapters from the Light Novel. While they’re *supposed* to bridge the gap from the second season to the new one, the stories are scattered throughout the Light Novel timeline. Reshuffle, for example, fit somewhere in the first season, if I remember right.
