That baseball bat has raised my hopes. If she starts wailing away on a mecha suit in the next ep, I will cry tears of joy. Unfortunately, Saten is likely to get punted to the side and by useless like she’s been in every other episode.

Mikoto hasn’t really had the spotlight since the second half of the series started. Besides, this task is clearly better suited for Touma. At least he manages to break the bad guy’s face before he ends up in the hospital. That’s more than Mikoto’s been able to pull off so far.

I keep expecting Saten to manifest a power at a moment of great need. Maybe it’ll happen when she hits someone with the bat. Super strength, or something like that.
