Hidden God #10 — OCDevelopment

Well, there’s a plot now, even if only one of the main characters has anything to do with it.
Impressions:
This episode was kind of all over the place, but at least it’s sort of going somewhere towards a final, albeit I’m not entirely certain how or why it’s going there. The expositional dump with Stupidhead’s crazy-eyed father was annoying, as was the big orange montage, but it did pick up in the second half. Not in a terribly intelligent way, and Stupidhead is still completely extraneous… now more than ever actually… but well… at least there’s a crazy villain running around knifing people. Granted, said villain can barely go toe to toe with a 13 year old girl, but at least he’s crazy. That counts for something.
That does lead into the problems with the second half. Sakaki’s big plan seems to just be generic revenge against the wolves, starting with crazily ranting about how there are monsters in the midsts to a crowd… who believes him. Sure, they just saw someone cut in half by some wolfgirl with a scythe, but that’s still not exactly conclusive proof of "Hey, that guy you know… HE EATS BABIES!" Which then went off in another direction when the wolves suddenly decided to blame everything on Stupidhead. "Actually, it’s his fault! He smells really really delicious!" Ooooooooookay. Isuzu’s sudden reappearance and everybody just taking it in stride would be the second strange little bit. "Oh, she’s back. Hi." And that’s that. Everybody just abandoned the brewing riot too once they heard crazy crazy Sakaki was at it again. Off goes the entire mob of superpowered wolfmen led by a 13 year old girl and followed by… Stupidhead and Girl Wonder… to fight "some guy with a knife." He’s not even as fearsome a villain as "Gunhaver," the man with the power of having a gun.
KG-A will have to wait until after class. Also, I have approximately four finals/final projects due within the next four days. KG-A is not a high priority.
Preview:
Crazy crazy Sakaki.

“Chaotic” seems to be the right word here.
