Oh hey, progress!
Full Alpha Graphics Patch
More details/textual only (and up to date) patch here
Just a very brief note to say that despite writing about 65 pages worth of final papers over the last week and a half, I finished off all the compulsory events for Senna’s route in Big Bang Age. I also quickly blitzed through the vast majority of the important gameplay images, so now I’ve got something that somebody could play from start to finish more or less however they wanted, hence, I’m ready to open up the floodgates and start getting feedback from the masses so things can be polished and typos caught. This thing is about the length a dozen novels. I’d feel sorry for my editors (and they’ve been great) if not for… well… the obvious. Besides, I like open projects.
There’s certainly still a ways to go. Most of the characters are pretty much done, but two of the subheroines and a lot of the more hidden/secret characters have barely been touched yet. Hard Mode has a number of extra characters and scenes as well, but heck. I’m mostly happy with how things are progressing. Sure, I’d kill a man for someone to do TLC for me (Only have 77,000 lines waiting for you!), and I became entirely too used to the GA safety net of voices for every scene to help me double check my work, but at least it’ll be nice to get back to that in a couple months and away from the shrill shrieking moans of Japanese pornography voice actors. I really screwed the pooch here by doing Shizuka Itou’s two characters right off the bat. Then again, I’m not sure if my mind will be able to adapt back to a world of space… and rape not lurking around every other corner.
If you want to thank me, there’s a perfect opportunity. There’s this nonsensical anime blog tournament going on that I was apparently entered into. Normally, I’d ignore it because as somebody who posts like clockwork, I’m automatically far too unwashed to know words like peremptory and supercilious. However, ChaosTangent and I are old buddies arch-enemies hailing from the same cutlery based corner of the internet long ago. He’s a good guy and very smart… although suspiciously too British… and has helped out with some of these translation projects, particularly Battle Moon Wars. So I want you to go there and vote for the two of us so that we can meet for the first time, for the last time… for the first time.
Actually… what am I saying? I control the spice translation, I control the universe. Go and vote for us or I’ll kill Galaxy Angel and throw Kunagi and Senna into the sun. I’m just crazy enough to do it.
As for the tournament… whatever. I don’t really care much for, or think much of, the ‘community’ anyway. I watch Demon King and Angel Beats with Kurogane most weeks, Koihime with Hikago, Ikki with my stalker, probe Digi for the latest Dr. Who buzz, have attempted to help Author graduate from Toradora PSP to the next logical step in VNs, succubus rape, and once even drew a space rabbit for the current admin of #Animeblogger.net and proud owner of http://AroducAnd.me (who threw the drawing away, the jerk). IRC can be a very confusing place sometimes. That’s community enough for me, and probably at least a handful of restraining orders within a few years if I play my cards right.

Thank you very much for all the hard work put into all translations. It must be hard balancing college work with blogging with translating, so just remember to not let your grades fall =p.
P.S. Looks like Kunagi and Senna are going to need some SPF 1,000,000 >.<
