I feel like I could summarize this episode on screencaps alone.

Impressions:

Out to dinner. I’ll get to this after Campanella when I get back in probably about two hours. I’m in a strange and unpleasant hotel. I get some leeway this weekend.

A pretty good episode of Chu-Bra, but it always leaves a bad taste when an episode ends on a poor note. The best thing about that segment was that it was very very short. And had absolutely nothing to do with the preceeding 18 minutes of the show. They could/should have put things together a little more coherently though. Part 1 and 3 obviously lead into each other while 2 was only barely tangentially related. Maybe they thought that the Miku/Mitsuba competition would get tiresome if it was 14 straight minutes of that. They were running Miku’s deal pretty hard this week despite introducing her entire gaggle of friends. I expected a bit more out of the other two.

Part 1 was Mitsuba going bra shopping after getting into an argument with classmate Miku over who was the more physically mature of the two. Lord knows neither are emotionally mature. Part 2 had Nipple fall in love with Mitsuba’s hamster panties, causing a lot of trauma for Hitoha, but then her fat can stretched out the face so much that his heart was broken and the status quo restored. Part 3 was back to Mitsu and Miku comparing their breast growth, along with the worst placed interstitial in the history of any show. The final part had the kids read essays about their parents, but Futaba and Mitsuba’s got swapped, so Futaba spewed out hate while Mitsuba spewed out love. Adding the word ‘spew’ makes anything more entertaining.
