Detective Opera Milky Holmes #05 — Cat Scratch Fever

Is it rape if the hug pillow doesn’t say no?

Impressions:

A very weak episode. The newbies, Mary and Kate, just plain suck. Mary’s power of… excitation, shall we say… and the brief pose-off between them and Arsene’s gang was about the only places where they didn’t annoy the living hell out of me. They’re kidnapping Kamaboko since he kind of has the same face as some guy they’re obsessed with. And that’s it. The girls’ stupidity was also played up super high this week, making them plenty irritating as well. After a certain point, every time they tossed in a humorous explanation of how they were idiotically misunderstanding what was going on, my eye twitched.

Twenty was once again the little saving grace of the episode. He began it out on a date on the roof with his hug pillow of himself (with a ‘naughty’ reverse side too, mind you), then spent most of the rest of the episode carting it around, making out with it, letting it sacrifice itself for him, etc. All the while, complaining about Mary and Kate ruining his beautiful date with it. Otherwise though, it was almost all Kamaboko, the increasingly annoying Mary and Kate, and then the girls rushing in to misnarrate what was going on. It wasn’t even funny once. I don’t need the exact same joke another four times, dammit.

I was going to ask about this last episode, but refrained from doing it. Some things are best left unknown.

Where can I find a Twenty pillow to hug?

I’m amazed that you can continue to watch this show. I simply can’t take it. It burns away at my IQ.

  • Mesousa says:

Oh, so it’s a Nicole Demerse written episode.
