Quest For Glory 2: Trial By Fire Remake Finally Complete

I was well aware that the VGA remake, complete with over 16 colors and a mouse interface (*gasp*) was being worked on, but like many ambitious internet projects, I just assumed it’d never ever happen. Well, they proved me wrong. Of course, I can’t just start playing it because I don’t have a character to import from So You Want to Be a Hero… and you can’t just jump into the adventure! You’ve got to save Spielburg first! …and there go my evenings for the next few weeks.

    Oh yeah, the X-ray glasses scene is definitely there in its 32-bit full color glory. :)

    This game was so fucking boss when I was in 2nd grade. I hated the endgame in Raseir though because you had to keep wandering around doing nothing for a couple hours waiting for the clock to tick away.

    It’s only a day and a half of hanging around. I always just went into the desert and fought things. Well, or just sat around after you had to give up your visa.
