Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha StrikerS #14 – Blah Blah Blah…

July 1st, 2007

I think if they had just spent 20 minutes on the part where Nanoha and Fate were sleeping together, it’d have been an improvement.

Impressions:

No new OP or ED this week. Boo. The episode was also really really boring. 24 minutes of talking heads going on and on and on about very little interesting. There wasn’t even some generic prophecy this time either. Bah. This has been quite the day for crappy episodes I guess.

At least the preview showed Ginga fighting Subaru, so hopefully we’ll get some hot Nakajima on Nakajima action, if you catch my drift.

New caps when a 640+ res raw appears. New caps up.

Summary:

Nanoha wakes up in her huge bed across from Fate with parasite Vivio still attached to her. She detaches Vivio and goes to get dressed, but Vivio starts moaning and searching for her, so Nanoha carries her over to Fate, who acts on her instinctual urge to smother lolis with her chest and does just that.

The cadets are finished with their training for the day and head off to shower and take it easy while Nanoha meets up with parasite Vivio and Ovary-Powered Fate. Vivio finally manages her first words… a request for food.

The cadets and Hayate are doing various paperwork when Hayate calls Teana over and I believe gives her an official commendation from Chrono on how she handled the last mission and wants her to tag along for their meeting in a little while. Fate has taken the Lightning cadets and is telling them that Zafira and Eina (?) are babysitting the parasite while they’re at work.

MEANWHILE, AT THE GALATIC CORE, Barrier Jacket Chrono is commanding his ship. Acous uses his magical powers to summon a cake. Good use of magic, slick.  Chrono and Verossa discuss Regius over their shared froofy man-cake. They know that he’s unhappy with Riot 6 and is trying to undermine their efforts. They’re interrupted by Hayate and Teana arriving via Star Trek teleporter.

Back with Fate and the Lightning kiddies… they’re getting a lesson in the Lost Logia and the destruction that they can cause to the world. We get a history lesson on Midchild, magic and the TSAB which is slightly less interesting than it might sound.

Fate looks at Bardiche and thinks back to her meeting last episode with Chrono and Carim. They’re discussing what exactly the prophecy means and its relation to the Lost Logia. This is even less interesting than the history of the TSAB, though the BGM was kind of nice. Carim also says that she’s at Riot 6’s command if they need her.

Subaru has finally finished her deskwork and notices that Nanoha is spacing out. The clock tower chimes, and Nanoha heads off to pick up the parasite from her babysitters while Subaru, bereft of Teana’s loving, ends up tagging along. The next thing we see is Vivio attached to Nanoha’s crotch once again. Subaru suggests that Vivio call Nanoha “mama,” which sets her crying and reattached to Nanoha once more.

Over in Chrono’s lovenest, Hayate is still eating Acous’ cake while Acous shares the data that he has about recent events with Teana in the form of a data chip. He also asks Teana about what she thinks of Hayate and says that he worries about her. Chrono and Hayate keep chattering about generic Riot 6 stuff while Acous does his best to try to snatch Teana away from Vice and Subaru. I like her and all, but why is she so hotly contested while Ginga is still unattached?

The cake apparently finally finished, and the Riot 6 pair gone, Acous and Chrono talk about Riot 6 and how they’re going to protect them. Acous says to leave it to him. I’m already getting traitor vibes from that punk. Hayate and Teana also make small talk as they leave.

In a dark room, General Nakajima is looking at a report on the Numbers attack being given by some scientist (Maria?) and Ginga. Nepotism much? He looks at a picture of their mother as they leave. We also get a quick view of Darth Vader General Regius looking generally cranky.

Back on the Fate/Nanoha honeymoon bed, Nanoha gets Vivio to call Fate ‘mama’ too. This is turning into a regular Happy Lesson. The cadets, meanwhile, are eating the strange food in the cafeteria again. Freaky spaghetti and salads. They talk about Vivio calling Nanoha mother and think about family, mothers and daughters specifically. Isn’t it nice when they work the title of the episode in?

As we fade to black we see Lutecia, Zest and Agito looking on forebodingly at the city. Next week… more Ginga. Thankfully.

    Vivio calls Nanoha-mama?
Remind me to Hotaru when she called Michiru-mama and Haruka-papa.
So Vivio should call Fate-papa, shouldn’t she? ^^*

    Thank you for update.

  • Tokkan says:

Heh. You left out the part with Ginga’s thoughts about her mother’s killer.

    Thank you for the update!

If not for the Fate/Nanoha/Vivio sweet and loving scenes, this episode would have been really boring.

Guess the Strikers team is really good with the touching scenes this time. More like Nanoha rather than A’s.

Hope this S3 last 10 ep will have more power and bombastic actions!

  • bob says:

they could have got a better rating if they extented the love scene, much more longer and err more “action”.

maybe i am asking for too much

  • Aroduc says:

Heh. You left out the part with Ginga’s thoughts about her mother’s killer.

It was all of one line anyway, and by the way Ginga says it, I’m not even certain that she’s referring to a specific person instead of some event or the like.

  • AGear says:

Maybe this is a crucial episode for the series, i believe that Vivio is a powerful Mage and She will be tricked by the enemy and will attack Nanoha and her friends, putting them in a dead line, but at the end, Maybe Vivio remember this “episode” and return to normal. This is only my supposition, errr… “hypothesis”.

Apparently the spaghetti is called ‘Neapolitan’…

Tower will fall, Ship will Sink, King will die.

Tower is TSB? Ship is Chrono’s new battleship (then Asura revive for it’s last battle?) and that stupid General is the King that die, and Riot 6 gets to continue? Hahahaha just sudden thoughts / crap.
