Impressions:

Well, thanks for making it easy for me to decide which to keep following. The epic struggle of the town versus a cliffside is enough for me to possibly even tune out of Jyushin Enbu entirely. I mean, seriously… fight a bandit or something… not a massive inanimate hunk of stone. This episode was just boring as sin and felt like really painfully blatant filler with absolutely nothing of note or interest happening. That’s really not a good sign when you’re only three episodes in. I also swear that they also used that exact same profile cel of chubby-dude with a goatee at least seven times in a row without even bothering to pretend otherwise.

Anyway, the decision’s easy. Jyushin Enbu had a great first episode, but it’s been on a pretty quick decline since then. I’ll probably keep watching it for at least another few episodes, but this is likely the last that you’ll hear from me about it unless it does something amazing enough to win its way back into my good graces.
