Neither Kaiji nor myself.

Impressions:

So, funny story… I had no electricity running to my home for an hour or so this morning, and then the house’s router (which belongs to my landlord, not me) decided to more or less self-destruct. Life without the internet is a scary thing when you have productive to accomplish. Luckily, Civ4 will always be there for me. I’m alive again, and not hobbling along on a neighbor’s wireless, downloading at the ceiling of 15 KB/S anymore though, so back to business as usual. More or less.

Unfortunately, I don’t really have too much to say about this episode. It was pretty much 100% transition between the first gambling competition and the next one. Kaiji goes back to a ‘normal’ life, workin’ like a regular joe to pay the man, before circumstances contrive to ship him off to another ‘exotic’ location for yet more gambling fun. It was a necessary evil, but just not an interesting one. At least there were no naked men for the first time in three weeks, though there was a gratuitous "here’s Kaiji at the urinals" scene. I was tempted to grab Labyrinth caps instead, but the only thing of note that happened there was Byakko crashing some poor evil schmuck’s car into a wall out of general spite. Silly girl just needs a hug.
