The Tower of Druaga #02 — Fun Times are Over

Just a few quick notes.
Impressions:
So yeah… apologies to anybody who was psyched for Druaga as a comedy, because it’s serious business from here on out. My eyes practically lodged in the back of my head at "he’s my brother." "Brother!?" OTOUTO!? Say it’s not so! Things went more or less the predictible bad fantasy route from there, complete with gathering a party, meeting the mousy priest chick, embarrassingly poor fight scene, and somehow managing to walk into the assassinated king’s bedroom JUST in time to be framed for it. Exactly as planned from the master of the compelling plot, Gonzo. I’m not going to be sticking around to see how they make this one implode on itself, but with the comedy all but gone, I think you can imagine how things will progress.
