Shame it was almost all SD. ^^

Impressions:

Chika visits Hidamari and they all celebrate for her, including cake, and since the karaoke place is closed, they go to the bathhouse instead and sing there, picking up Yoshinoya along the way. Epic tales of swords and sorcery it ain’t. I have to admit that I didn’t really like the way they told this episode all that much. Most of the episode was them at dinner, flashing back to the bathhouse, then back to dinner, then back to the bathhouse, etc. It just seemed engineered to be done to fill out an extra minute or two so they could go "remember when… X" and then jump back there.

Miyako was a surprisingly good singer, though I do have to wonder about Sae checking out her 13 year old sister’s rack. Are we that dissatisfied with Hiro already, Sae? Or just contemplating a boob job for ourself? Yoshinoya’s crazy-ass dance also confused and amused me, as Yoshinoya herself tends to. That Mona Lisa was scary though. I’m sure that I’m probably supposed to recognize whose face that is, but I’m somewhat surprised that they didn’t just go with Shinbo’s face. I am sad that we didn’t get a Hiro naked karaoke bath solo though. I’m sure it would have been too awesome for words anyway.
