Impressions:

Boo cliffhangers in final episodes. Don’t do that, dammit!

Another very short (~6 minute) episode unfortunately, and I called Rose being Pengy’s mom at least three weeks ago, so *harumph*! Like I said, I’d have been much much happier if Mary had gotten up and they had gone for the triple tech before Rose took off her ‘elaborate’ disguise and flew off. I’ve never really understood the ugly blue swimsuit fetish, so I honestly preferred Marie’s old disheveled look more. I’m rather sad that we won’t actually get to see what’s up with the evil Pengy, and I really wish that the big finale had been a little longer and involved more of the cast, but eh… it really wouldn’t have been able to match up with the first segment’s finale.

Double straight max recap. Rose goes flying. Blah blah blah. Friendship power!

ROSE IS PISSED.

Kujira falls back into a fighting stance. Rose… smiles and congratulates Pengy.

Kujira demands to know what the hell is going on while Pengy goes into shock. Kujira tells Pengy that it’s time for another double straight, but Pengy’s just shaking.

Rose takes off her hair barrette and a hair curl, suspiciously identical to Pengy’s pops up. Pengy shrieks out that it’s her mother. Kujira’s in shock.

Pengy cowers behind Kujira and demands to know why her mother is here.

Kujira’s struggling to keep up with the soap opera antics. Pengy says that it really is her mother, and goes into flashbacks over how her mother tortured her daily to get her to study, go to school, etc. Pengy’s a bit traumatized, but then thinks it might not really be her because she has a mole. Rose touches her mole and it comes right off. Pengy tries to rationalize that too, but Kujira beats her.

Rose takes the chance to explain herself, basically that she was worried about Pengy because she didn’t make friends. It looks like she was wrong though and Pengy has wonderful ones. She calls a helicopter and flies off. Pengy declares the whole thing a victory for Friendship Power. Kujira glares at her and Mary starts angrily fuming at being drawn into this moronic family nonsense. She and Pengy get into it as usual.

Back at school, Mary’s uniform has been reduced to a swim suit and some ribbons. The White Knights are ecstatic over her elegance. Pengy butts in and glomps Mary, but gets beaten.

Pengy turns instead to ranting at her own friends and glomps Kujira. Xia starts flipping out and Kujira smacks Pengy around. The teacher tries to get the attention of the class because they’ve got transfer students.

It’s Aka and her younger sister Riff. Aka’s a bit terrified, but it’s an order from their pres.

They hug each other and whimper while the rest of the class prepares for revenge. Pengy instantly forgives them, yesterday’s enemy is today’s friend and welcomes them happily. Aka holds out her hand in thanks, but Pengy sneezes and ends up grabbing Aka’s chest. Boingy boingy. 

Pengy backs off immediately, but Aka reaches into her jacket and pulls out a sword. Pengy tries to apologize, but punishment commences.

Rose listens to it all and thinks about how much fun they’ll have. Another Pengy with red eyes and a tan walks out of the shadows and agrees with her mother. 

Final Thoughts:

The main sin this show committed was being extremely short. Each week varied in length from a paltry 5 minutes to up to 12. Unfortuately, the second half featured many more short episodes than it did longer ones. I can only imagine that they started running out of whatever small budget they had in this bizarre netcast only experiment. It’s really a pity because this would have been a very strong show and is certainly well above average in overall production, but that could also be an artifact of its very short length. I do believe that the second half was much weaker than the first. Between all the Black Rose stuff and the two episode time travel arc, there just wasn’t as much wacky humor as the first half. In addition, many of the likeable characters, for example Xia Ci and Kaede were all but kicked off screen.

I do hope that they decide to continue it at some very soon future point, but it’s site lists it as on indefinite break, so I imagine that unless the DVD sales are pretty killer, this is the last we’ll see of Pengy and the gang, aside from whatever silliness they do for the next week or two until the DVD release. I’ll miss you, Sakura.

Impressions:

My question here… what happened to Marie during all this chaos? They showed her body lying on the ground at the start, but then she conveniently disappeared for the rest of the episode. I just hope they’re discretely trying to make us forget that she’s lurking up there as well to ‘surprise’ us when she comes to Pengy and Kujira’s rescue next episode. If there isn’t a triple Whitebear-Sakura-Etorafu Triple Straight Max Heart next episode, I am going to be severely disappointed. Severely.

Everything went pretty much 100% as expected though. Pengy tried and failed, called out to Kujira, and then the two teamed up to really really piss off the woman. I guess she’s named Kurobara (Black Rose for the forgetful), though I’m still going to say that she’s Pengy’s long lost mother or older sister or crazy aunt or something. I’m not sure the general audience of this show is ready for a serious crazy villainess, even one that builds towers out of thorns and employs people specializing in attacking with business cards. Whatever the punchline is here, we’ve been working a long way for it, though there’s really no way that it can top the Whitebear giant naked world destroying brawl.

Also, ravaged Pengy is pretty hot.

 Rose tells Pengy that there’s nothing she can do, but Pengy fires right back that she’s in Etorafu cosplay.

Kujira keeps climbing up the thorn tower while all the rest look on from below. Xia cheers for her and Kaede thinks about Kaede getting ready to climb up.

 Kaede wanted to call the helicopter, but Kurjira said to leave it to her. Kujira continues her climb, the thorns tearing at her clothes as she goes.

Pengy rushes to the attack with an Etorafu Kick and Straight. She’s confused when she misses though. She should be more powerful in her cosplay. Rose declares that it’s over and swings her whip and tears up Pengy’s headband, ruining her Etorafu cosplay.

Pengy collapses to her knees and Rose taunts her. Pengy tries to run away in fear, and Rose is happy to see that face on her.

She tries to hide behind the statue of herself, but Rose beheads it. She crawls away, crying for Kujira’s help. She flashes back briefly to telling Kujira that she’d save her on her own.

Rose takes the opportunity to whip Sakura’s pert little bottom and wonders aloud where Pengy thinks she’s going. Pengy looks down from the edge and realizes that she’s trapped. Rose closes in and Pengy cowers. She flashes back again to slapping Kujira and realizes how cruel she was.

Rose rushes forward and whips. Pengy screams. Below them, Kujira hears Pengy and  redoubles her efforts.

As she’s being flayed, Pengy wonders why she tought of Kujira and that she’s not actually a hero at all even though she likes to pretend that she is one. She needs Kujira. Rose’s whip is suddenly grabbed and Pengy falls into Kujira’s arms.

 Kujira asks if Pengy’s okay. Pengy asks if she came for her sake, but Kujira goes into her embarassed stammering routine. Kujira yells at her for being an idiot, and Pengy tells her that she’s an idiot for calling her an idiot. They quickly make up and Kujira sort of apologizes.

Rose interrupts the moment angrily demanding who is interfering.

She pulls the whip and yanks Kujira away from Pengy. Kujira yells at Pengy to stay back and gets up, ready to fight. Rose starts whipping Kujira mercilessly. Kujira can block some, but gets backed up to the edge.

 Rose readies to finish her off, but Pengy grabs her, saying that Kujira is her most important friend. Rose is stunned, letting Kujira rush forward and land an Etorafu Straight.

Rose immediately gets up and Pengy starts panicking again. Kujira says that they’ll do it together, but Pengy thinks that she can’t. Kujira calls her stupid and tells her to believe in it.

The two charge up then rush Rose for a Sakura/Etorafu Double Straight Max, blasting Rose back through the Pengy statue. Pengy declares their Friendship Power unbeatable.

There’s no body in the rubble though. Rose stands behind them, pissed off as all hell. She opens her eyes and has gone berserk.

Personally, I liked the Cure costume more.

Impressions:

I’m waiting for the big reveal about the crazy woman. I’m assuming that she’s just Pengy’s long lost crazy mother, or maybe an older sister or aunt. Even for a crazy sadist lesbian with a whip, the series has yet to have anybody actually be evil and I doubt they’re starting three episodes from the end. Overall though, this episode really didn’t have a ton of comedy. At least the action was passable, though certainly not amazing. The nine minute episode length is still way too short too. Certainly a step up from last week, but still far shorter than it deserves to be. I want to see what Pengy will actually be able to do now that she’s "serious" (whatever the hell that means for her). Hopefully next week won’t just be a short episode with her fight before ending with Kujira reaching the top of the tower to save her bacon as usual.

Penguin Cure takes the stage and redeclares that she’ll rescue Marie.

Inside, the big bad blushes at how adorable "her Sakura" is. Marie demands to know what the hell is going on, and the woman responds by destroying Marie’s handcuffs and saying that she’s no longer needed. 

Marie’s pissed off at being used as just a pawn and tries to attack, but the woman easily dodges and then punches her in the stomach, knocking her down. She kicks Marie once and then snaps her fingers. The lights turn on, revealing the entire room filled with pictures of Pengy, including a giant naked statue of Pengy.

The woman blushes again at the beauty of Pengy. Marie again asks what the hell is up. The woman says that she’s in love with Pengy and hugs herself. She’s been watching Pengy all this time. She starts stomping on Marie more until Whitebear passes out.

Pengy finally gets around to entering the mansion and the woman turns to her. At some point, Pengy changed her clothes into a cat eared magical witch, Magical Pengy. She declares again that she’ll rescue Marie before she sees Marie unconscious on the ground. She runs towards her, but the woman appears out of nowhere and hugs her. Pengy is surprised, and the woman licks her neck. Pengy throws her off in panic and finally sees that the room is filled with pictures of her. She puts two and two together and calls the woman a stalker.

Evil lady pulls out a whip and attacks Pengy, flaying off some of her clothes.

Outside, Nene shakes Xia Ci until she wakes up. They hear Pengy’s shriek from inside.

The woman repeatedly whips Pengy on the floor, laughing crazily all the while. Nene suddenly appears behind her and holds a needle at her neck.

The woman just smiles and declares that anybody who gets in the way of her love for Pengy won’t be forgiven before leaping away and whipping Nene. Xia jumps in to attack, but is repulsed and knocked out. The woman presses a button on her whip and the room starts to fall apart.

Pengy and the woman are shot upwards on a thorned tower, leaving all the others far below.

The woman says that they’ll have so much fun together, making Pengy cower and cover her exposed chest. 

Pengy suddenly sees Marie, and remembers that she’s here to save her. She gets serious and pulls a ribbon off the back of her hair.

Down below, Maguro and Nene try to climb the tower, but fall back down from the thorns/uncertain footing. It’s useless.

Kujira appears behind them, along with Kaede and Seb. Everybody’s happy to see her. They tell her that Pengy’s up above. Kujira tears off parts of her shirt and uses them to bandage up her hands.

Up above, Pengy ties the ribbon into a headband and declares that she’ll use Etorafu Power to defeat the Stalker. The two stare each other down.

Ultimate finishing strike!

Impressions:

*sigh* Boo for these short episodes. I hope this isn’t how the whole series is going to end, but with only three episodes left, it’s certainly starting to look that way. The five and a half minute episode… with thirty seconds of recap… certainly really not helping matters either. At least we got some Xia eyecandy this episode. She’s definitely grown on me quite a bit as this show has gone on, though I always like the fang look. I do hope that Cure Penguin does have some moves or at least some magical girl posing before Kujira and Seb show up to save her bacon. Then again, I wouldn’t be overly against another giant naked fist fight.

Pengy’s still zonked, and Xia’s clothes explode from Aka’s attack. She refuses to back down though, so Aka rushes forward and knocks Xia aside using her hair. Aka taunts her, and Xia knowsthat she has to use her ultimate attack. Nene tries to talk her out of it, but Xia wants to be a hero in Kujira’s stead.

Kujira will surely think that she’s cool. Nene refuses, and says that she’ll fight alongside Xia. She stands up and is in her priestess garb. The two vow to support each other and then charge forward.

Cut back to Kujira and Kaede. Kujira tells the shrimp that she can’t do everything all the time.

Kaede tells her to not worry about Pengy, which sets off Kujira into a blushing violent rage. She rips out the fence in her rage and spins  it into a giant ball.

Xia rushes forward, but Aka dodges and punches her. Xia jumps right back into the fight while Nene chants a spell. Xia gets kicked back and Aka declares that match is over. She jumps up for her ultimate business card tidal wave attack.

The cards divert from Xia and fly towards Nene, but she disappears and then reappears behind Aka. Nene grabs Aka from behind and tells Xia to attack. She readies her ultimate attack and flies at the captured Aka.

Kujira’s finally calmed down a little bit, to Kaede’s relief. She tells Kaede it’s time to go save Pengy, then blushing and flustered, says to not misunderstand anything.

Kaede thanks her and radios Sebastian, who arrives in a helicopter while Flight of the Valkyries plays. Kaede thinks that Xia was right after all.

Xia is beaten up, but holds up a key card. Pengy wakes up and sees her friends laying on the ground. They apologize to her. Xia gives her the business card before they pass out.

Likewise, the White Knights pull themselves out of the hole and tell her that they have to leave Mary’s return to Pengy. Kare hands her another key before passing out. Pengy tries to vow revenge against Black Rose Communications, but gets tied up trying to say Communications. Nene corrects her, and then collapses.

Cure Penguin gets ready for her final battle.

Absolutely horrifying.

Impressions:

Boo. We had been doing so well lately, a 14 minute, a 15 minute, and a 13 minute episode… and this week about 10 and a half minutes. Minute 3 minutes for OP/ED and another 30+ seconds for the advertisement and preview and this one almost took longer to download than it did to watch.

In a somewhat weird turn of events, most of the episode was focused on Kare, the cross dressing goth loli man maid of the White Knights. He was the only one unaffected by Riff’s hallucinogen gas, and I do have to say that the testicles in the panties at the end were… unnerving. I kept expecting him to flip up his skirt to prove his identity to the others and then hilarious misunderstandings about Marie or whoever they were currently hallucinating to result, but no… just a little teabagging action for poor Riff. Admittedly, she did deserve it, but it’ll take quite a bit of bleach to remove that image from my brain.

Pengy and redhead stare each other down. In the hole below, the White Knights and the incompetent Black Rose girl (Riff) try to think of how to get out. As it turns out, she set off one of the smoke devices to make sure they all stay in there. The White Knights threaten her for the key to turn it off, but she says that she’ll be killed by their pres if she hands it over.

There’s no helping it then, the White Knights will just take it by force.

They all leap down to attack, but Kare (the crossdresser) gets punched away. Kujira’s here to stop them, and Mary turns to fight her. Kare pulls herself up and sees all the White Knights fighting with each other.

Riff explains that the gas is a hallucinogen and her mission can’t possibly fail now. It’s a shame that it doesn’t work on Kare. Riff throws another smoke ball at Kare’s feet, but that just annoys her more.

Riff calls out to Mary, Maguro and Kiyomi, and the hallucination makes Riff appear to be Marie. She orders them to deal with Kare. They all attack, but Kare immediately loses his temper and drops a rock on the girls. Kare turns back to Riff, but Kiyomi tries to stop him. Riff asks why he’s so devoted to Marie.

Kare flashes back to Marie finding him as a starving child in a blizzard and living/growing up (complete with operatic bass singing) in luxury and comfort. Kare tells Riff that Marie saved them, and inches forward to attack Riff with Kiyomi still clinging to her leg.

Riff starts to panic, but Maguro knocks out Kare and he falls on top of Riff. With his panties in Riff’s face, she realizes the testicular truth and is zonked.

Inside, Marie and the president watch. They move things on to Pengy’s group.

Aka gets ready to attack, but Pengy starts dancing around and ranting about justice. Aka just throws one of her ninja business cards into Pengy’s head and knocks her out.

Back at the school, Kujira is moping around and thinking about Pengy running off like a spoiled brat. She remembers Xia being disappointed in her too. Below her, Kaede leaves the school, looking for her idiot sister. 

Xia Ci gets ready to fight Aka next. Aka throws of her cloak to reveal her serious battle suit and throws a barrage of cards at Xia.

Back at school, Kujira tells Kaede where her sister ran off to. Kaede immediately pulls out her phone to call Pengy and tells Kujira that they need to go too, but Kujira says that she won’t. From the cell phone, they hear a girl scream.

My money’s on the ones not wearing pants.

Impressions:

Sorry, I’m rather tired so this’ll be a bit brief.

The girls from the opening episode of this ‘season’ finally show up for real in this episode as part of the Black Rose Communications group… well, "Kurobara Communications," which is probably a satire of Kurogane Communications, although since I’m not familiar at all with KC aside from the name, I really have no clue. At least the Cure Penguin getup was a lot easier to recognize. Their leader is apparently the evil woman that we’ve seen in the OP for the last… uh… 10 episodes or so? Maybe more. One is semi-competent, the other… not so much. At least she digs holes well, even if she makes a terrible zombie. I didn’t catch either of their names, except that the one with the red hair is called "Aka-chan" (surprise surprise) by the other. Seriously, just because somebody has red hair, you don’t need to put ‘red’ in their name. 

Oh yeah, and neither of them wear pants.

Ultra-brief Summary:

While partaking some gourmet bread and water, Marie is attacked by a girl who manages to put herself to sleep with her own smoke bomb. Her ally attacks them while they’re distracted and takes Marie.

After Pengy and the others gather the fallen knights, Pengy wants to rush in, but Kujira’s pretty worried about the whole situation. Pengy slaps her for not immediately rushing to her friend’s aid and, grabs Nene and rushes off. Xia Ci hesitates, but then follows. Kujira just glares.

At the promised spot, Pengy Cure is attacked by the red-haired girl, but the knights show up to help her, but the knights are there to protect her. The other girl pops up as a zombie and grabs Maguro’s leg, but she just shakes her off and then helps the poor girl out of the ground. The girl reveals that it was a trap as the ground plummets out from under them. Unfortunately, she was caught in it too.

Pengy Cure gets ready to fight Aka-whoever.

Oh hey, a show that’s not a premier.

Impressions:

An alright, if fairly predictible end to this little mini-arc. Any time you mess with time, it’s practically required to show that the future is worse than when you began yada yada yada ends in lesbian marriage. At least Kujira didn’t end up with breast implants and engaged to Biff Tannen. While cute, there really wasn’t all that much humor in this episode either, though I did giggle every time they said "Time Penguin." Nene is also rather fetching in her formal red dress. Pengy’s alright in her wedding dress too I guess, but I like her white dress with pony tail from the OP more. Ah well, Kujira made her own (lesbian) bed with this one.

Picking right up where we left off, Future-Kujira saves loli-Pengy, but loli-Kujira ruins the mood by trampling all over Pengy’s feelings saying that she likes Future-Kujira. That was quite a sentence. Pengy runs off in tears.

Kujira yells at her younger self before walking away. She mopes for a little bit, but then hops in the time machine and heads home.

Back in the present, everything is changed…

The Whitebear tower has taken over and Pengy’s building is completely gone. Even the school belongsto Whitebear now. Nene walks up and greets Kujira. Kujira shakes her and asks what happened to Pengy… Nankyouku Sakura, but Nene just recongnizes the name as someone that Marie  took down. Kujira runs off to find Pengy.

Down by a bridge, Pengy, Seb and Kaede are cooking their food in abject poverty, with only a single anime figure to fangirl over. Kujira looks at them for a moment, then runs off, repeating to herself that it’s all her fault. Memories of Pengy smiling and having fun with all of them flash their her head, along with all the good she did. She screams out her apology.

She hops back into the Time Penguin and teleports back into the past. She runs past her future past self and finds loli Kujira who starts rambling about how cool Future-Kujira2 is. When asked about Pengy, Loli-Kujira is a bit sad that she won’t get to see that girl again, so Kujira tells her they’ll search for her together and the two run off.

Loli-Kujira eventually finds Pengy surrounded by three bullies who are harassing her. She rushes to Pengy’s aid, but they’ve got an older friend there this time who beats up loli-Kujira.

Big Kujira shows up, but stops herself from getting involved. She watches her loli self get up and charge the bullies. She ducks beneath his punch and Etorafu STRIKE and Etorafu KICKS her way to victory. She turns to the others, but they run off.

Loli-Kujira tells Pengy that she’s a little happy that Pengy called her Pengy’s first love. Kujira shows the mark on her back to Pengy, and Pengy gets all excited saying that they’re now promised to marry.

Everything right with the world, Future-Kujira and her Time Penguin fade to nothing. The other Kujira returns to the present where Nene greets her, saying that it’s almost time for the wedding. Pengy comes in dressed in a wedding dress.

Kujira tries to figure out what’s going on, but Pengy whipsout a cellphone picture of the mark on Kujira’s back, proving that she’s a guy (kanji means man/husband). Seb rings a bell and the maids haul Kujira off to be Pengy’s groom.

It’s just a jump to the left…

Still drunk, still blogging. You can’t stop me.

Impressions:

It figures that they’d do a long episode while I’m too tipsy to actually appreciate it. Basically, Pengy wants to go back to time to… do whatever the hell she wants to do, but gets hauled off by Seb. Kujira can’t resist so hops on board, only to watch her past self save young Pengy from some bullies, and of course, cannot resist interfering with the timeline and creating some kind of horrible horrible paradox that’ll probably tear apart the fabric of the universe… again.

Honestly though, I thought it was kind of a weak episode since it just played up the same "Pengy likes Kujira as a moe martial artist and/or Nene as a shrine maiden etc etc" blah blah as before, only this time with them as small children/lolis. It just reeks of retreaded ground, thoughI’m hoping the next episode will build on it a little more… assuming that the next episode isa continuation of this one which is always a toss up as far as Pengy is concerned.

Pengy’s head explodes!

Impressions:

Another pretty short episode bulked up by the annoying advertisement girl. I don’t really know what to think of Saki yet… she doesn’t really have much of a personality and as far as this episode went, she was basically just there to give Pengy an excuse to spazz out. It was cute and all, but it’s hard to get excited about what was essentially a mannequin  for the majority of the episode. There was also a lot of Kujira on Pengy violence this episode, which makes me wonder where Xia Ci and Nene were. The two usually mediate that pretty well or at least mix things up a bit. This was just the same joke pretty much over and over again building up to the ultra GALAXY MOE declaration.

Well, whatever, it was mostly enjoyable, though like most episodes, 8 minutes is far too short. *sigh*

At a student council meeting, Pengy’s pitching for a trip out to Akihabara for some anime that she wants. Kujira will have none of that, but Pengy says that since she lost, she has to obey Pengy. That results in a severe beating and the student council meeting begins.

Today they’re discussing clubs, but Pengy suddenly sees something that sets her heart aflutter. There’s a girl sitting in the back, shy, and dressed in winter clothes, a true mysterious beautiful lovely girl. Pengy’s entranced until Kujira smacks her upside the head again.

Pengy wants to know who the girl is. Kujira has no clue, so assumes it’s a transfer student. Of course, all great stories begin with a mysterious transfer student. 

Pengy’s internal vision centers in on the girl to list her moe qualities and she tries to talk to the poor kid, but she doesn’t answer. That doesn’t put off Pengy at all and she glomps the kid. She introduces herself and wants to trade cell numbers etc etc and starts petting the girl while Kujira yells at her.

Pengy redresses her as appropriate… in a maid uniform. It’s the special student council costume. 

Kujira understandably annoyed, but Pengy goes on a deep spelunking mission to make sure her panties are approrpiate. She emerges, saying that everything is perfect. TERRA MOE DESU.

Kujira beats Pengy senseless and then apologizes to the kid, but the kid isn’t bothered by Pengy’s antics.

In fact, she’s a bit happy. Pengy’s cell phone yodels (no really) and she gets a message from the girl, Hojiro Saki. Kujira’s heard that name before… and looks into the girl’s book to see volumes and volumes of manga. She realizes that Saki’s the same as Pengy and collapses in defeat.

Pengy sticks Saki’s head between her chest and declares that they’ll be together.

On the way home from school, Pengy and Saki walk together. Kujira follows along. They come to a run down house and Kujira recognizes it as belonging to that White Bear. Maguro comes out of the door and throws Pengy and Kujira back. Kujira lands on her feet. Pengy… does not. Kujira yells at Maguro, and gets a happy happy cell phone message. It continues, saying that Saki is her important sister.

Pengy’s internal vision keeps filling in the moe qualities. It’s the legendary mysterious maid rival sister I lost track of all the adjectives here "GALAXY MOE." Kujira and Maguro beat Pengy around before Kujira drags her off.

In her diary, Saki writes about how much fun she had with Pengy and how happy she was to wear the maid suit. The final Pengy moe internal vision stuff fills in… she was spying on her with a giant telescope. Kujira gets one more attack in.

This princess is a nymphomaniac.

Impressions:

Boo for 6 minute episodes. Come on, Pengy… you just had two months off, why would you go right back to a 6 minute episode? It wasn’t even a particularly sensical episode for that matter. I was expecting at least some Prince of Tennis jokes in here, but then the ED played and we got a minute and a half of "buy our junk!" It was alright, I guess. I chuckled at the Engrish at the beginning, but that was more at Marie’s mangling and then her anger at the teacher for mangling it even worse. Pengy’s weird sexual desire to be brushed was also chuckle worthy, but honestly… what can you say about an ‘episode’ that was only a little bit longer than a commercial break?

In class, Marie recites English flawlessly… for a given definition of flawless. As far as Penguin Musume is concerned, it’s flawless. "Beauty-ho English" the teacher praises. Marie corrects her derisively.

At lunch, the party chows down. Kujira’s amazed at "that White Bear girl." Pengy says that it’s just as expected of her. They sort of chatter/gossip  onward about how the other people in the Whitebear clan are getting along. They’re all excelling at what they do… including cheerleading for the trap.

Maguro’s in the cooking class apparently. Everybody’s getting along great, except that Marie hasn’t really joined anything. Pengy declares this unacceptable and gets it into her mind to make Marie join the student council.

Pengy tracks her down, where she’s eating scraps in the park. Marie says that of course a Whitebear should be in the ruling party, but rejects anyway. She’d never follow Pengy and spits the fishbone into Pengy’s head. It’s a challenge then!

Out comes the badminton equipment. Pengy’s fired up to be the Princess of Badminton and announces that she’ll definitely defeat Marie. She, on the other hand, doesn’t get why Pengy wants her on the council. They’re enemies after all. Pengy’s… got an anime answer that pisses Marie off at being reduced to… well… sidekick status.

Her clan is there to cheer her on.

Likewise, Xia and Nene are dancing around to cheer on Pengy. Xia’s not too wild about it dachi. It’s a respite before seeing that Seb’s also there in a skirt with pompoms.

The match starts. Pengy serves, but Marie returns and Pengy misses it entirely. That was a short match. Marie declares her victory, but Pengy hands her a pen. Apparently this match is that every time you score a point, you get to draw on the opponent.

Pengy squeals as the ink hits her face and everybody is stunned.

Pengy shakes ‘em all off by saying it’s nothing and goes on to the next point, but Marie slams it down again. More face painting and moaning. And again and again and again. Pengy’s got ink all over her and is panting with near orgasmic glee. Pengy falls down and begs for it.

Marie’s pissed off at the perverted woman. Her cronies congratulate her, but she doesn’t feel it’s an actual victory. Kujira takes the chance to stomp on Pengy a bit.
